Systems Engineer

• We are seeking a proactive and skilled System Engineer to join our growing team in Bengaluru
• This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation high availability and optimal performance of our mixed Windows and Linux server environments with a strong emphasis on IIS hosted and containerized applications
• The successful candidate will be the bridge between our infrastructure and application development teams providing crucial deployment and hosting support

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Operations
• Perform routine system administration tasks on Windows and Linux Server platforms
• Manage and maintain IIS web servers including site configurations and performance monitoring for hosted applications
• Execute basic server operations monitoring and troubleshooting in Linux environments
• Ensure system and data security by adhering to established policies and implementing appropriate controls
• Manage and maintain server inventory documentation and operational runbooks
• Application Deployment Support
• Act as a key liaison with application development teams for deploying new applications and updates to production and non production environments
• Provide expert hosting support for
• applications running on IIS including performance tuning error analysis and log review
• Troubleshoot application connectivity and availability issues collaborating with developers to pinpoint root causes and implement solutions
• Assist in automating application deployment processes using scripting and relevant tools
• Monitor deployed applications for health performance and error conditions proactively addressing issues
