Role Overview: Join Fortinet, a cybersecurity pioneer dedicated to safeguarding people, devices, and data everywhere. As a Pre-Sales System Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales activities. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating closely with a sales representative in south India to handle enterprise accounts customers. Your mission will be to contribute to the success of Fortinet's rapidly growing business by fostering relationships, achieving enterprise-wide deployments of solutions, and delivering meaningful results. Key Responsibilities: - Play a crucial role in new business solution pitches and develop long-term relationships to drive the adoption of Fortinet solutions across enterprises. - Qualify sales leads from a technical standpoint during the pre-sales process. - Respond to RFP compliances, handle pre-bid meetings, and work on cross-references efficiently. - Act as the main technical resource on sales calls, educating customers on features, specifications, functionality, and integration. - Serve as the lead technical contact for identified accounts post-sales, collaborating with the technical support escalation team and engineering to address and resolve technical issues. - Provide sustainable training and technical expertise to channel partners on Fortinet solutions and competitive differentiation. - Collaborate with Channel and Sales management to establish and qualify partners' ability to sell Fortinet solutions. - Design complex systems engineering configurations and maintain a high level of technical knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and the relevant industry. - Utilize the Fortinet Sales Strategy and Solution Messaging to identify solutions for customer business objectives. - Participate in developing and supporting presentations for customers and partners, articulating the technical elements of the Fortinet value proposition effectively. - Contribute to the creation of case studies, white papers, and media articles, fostering a collaborative team-based environment and sharing best practices. - Lead strategic opportunities, provide consultative support, negotiate effectively, and pursue conflict resolution. - Create customer documentation for Proof of Concept (POC) and work closely with SME, Sales, and Technical Support Team. Qualifications Required: - In-depth knowledge of Network, Cloud, Application, and End-Point Security solutions such as SDWAN, NG Firewall, Application Delivery, SASE, Web Application Firewall, ZTNA, EDR/XDR, etc. - Familiarity with NOC/SOC Solutions including SIEM, SOAR, and Mobile core-specific solutions like GiFW, CGN, SecGW. - Experience with security solutions for Public and Private clouds and understanding of Fortinet Products/Solutions and its competition. - Ability to conduct POC demonstrations of Fortinet Solutions to customers. - Willingness to travel across India (approximately 25% travel). - Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.
