Systems Engineer - DataStage

• Please find the Informatica Administrator JD (6+ years of relevant experience)
• Excellent administration skills with tools like IBM Datastage Informatica, SQL Developer, Putty & other client supporting tools.
• DATASTAGE applications (Installation, configuration, patch, administration, backup ...)
• Maintenance and evolution of technical architectures and supervisory systems
• Testing, validations, follow-up of the implementation of new applications
• Technical support for PROD and NON PROD environments (support for business units).
• Good experience in Installation, configuration, maintenance& troubleshooting of Datastage Server/client.
• Monitoring and performance tuning skill
• Should be able to configure IBM Datastage and Informatica server on AWS & RHEL environment.
• Installed and configured Informatica Power Center (Server and Client) on UNIX and Windows platforms and configured the domain and application services.
• Excellent troubleshooting skill and good knowledge about Workflow ,session functions and User security, LDAP authentication, SSL configuration, Logger services
• Promoting Informatica Mappings/Sessions/Workflows from one environment to another environments.
• Should be able to perform Backup / Recovery of Datastage Informatica repository Domain and configurations.
• Should be able to manage complex environmental issues and on time resolution, Excellent communication skills with effective co-ordination among internal teams and Clients
• It will be good having experience on Shell scripting/Python.
• knowledge on informatica migration to 10.X
• Managing the 24/7 PROD support environment(oncall)

Profile

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with strong technical solution mindset
• 7+ years of experience with Informatica Administration activities
• Candidate must possess 5+ years of experience supporting production issues in a large production environment
• Experience in UNIX OS and Shell/Python script and Basic SQL and Java knowledge
• Ability to understand and debug IBM Datastage and Informatica administration and development related issues
• Experience in providing architectural solutions for ETL platform
• Excellent presentation and communication skills and self-starter
