System Architect

Detailed description:

Key Objectives of this Role: Perform System Architecture activities for Infotainment, Telematics and Cluster Products in Compliance to ASPICE standards

• Perform System Architecture analysis based on customer requirements and capture the system architecture in compliance with applicable automotive standards
• End to End detailed knowledge on Vehicle Interface Processor, SOC, TCU, MODEM, BT-WiFi, Serializer, De-Serializer, DSP, Amplifier, Encoder, Decoder, Memory and its relevant interfaces and applications.
• Identify the System Elements and Its interaction/Interfaces to deliver the defined Product features.
• Perform the expected System Resource Estimations and Optimize as required
• HSIS and Schematics to be analyzed and provide the VAVE Ideas for cost optimization
• Collaborate with software, hardware and System team to provide the clear design direction during design review.
  • Review TGR and TGW from similar projects and apply as appropriate during planning and design phase • Creation of System DFMEA and support for Electrical, Mechanical and Process DFMEA reviews
• Support for System and Other domains Technical Design Reviews.
  • Perform/Review the impact analysis of critical Customer changes with respect to cost and functionality • Identify & escalate risks/dependencies (technology, capability, 3rd party, software, hardware, input docs) • Analyze project level non-compliances and take appropriate action • Ensure use of Requirements and Architecture tools and share the learnings with the team
• Peer review of all system engineering work products
• Support Business pursuits in terms of System Architecture.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
BE/B. Tech (Electronics/E&TC) with Minimum 12+ years of Experience in System Engineering/System Architect/ Software Architect with very good Knowledge on Infotainment, Instrument Cluster and Telematics Product and Features

Experienced in
• Requirement Management tools like DOORS NG , JIRA

• Hands on experience in Modeling languages such as UML, MATLAB, Rapshody
• Specialized in Infotainment, Telematics and Instrument cluster Products System Knowledge
  • Detailing System Architecture and Providing Solutions for any issue that arise
• Analyzing the HW elements and its Interfaces defined in HW Architecture
• Development of Systems DFMEA
• Performing Technical design reviews
• Understand regulatory and legal requirements pertaining to area of specialization
  • Automotive embedded industry business acumen • Communication and Technical Negotiation skills
• Good in documentation skill
