Description
As an Agile Performance Tester at Amdocs, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing automated and performance testing solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of complex software systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing automated test frameworks for SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra). - Developing automated tests for backend systems using Python. - Creating and maintaining automated tests for geospatial data and map-based applications using MapBox and EGIS. - Implementing automated testing solutions for big data processing and streaming using Kafka. - Designing and executing automated tests for containerized applications using Docker. - Developing and maintaining UI automation tests for map-based applications. - Designing and implementing performance testing strategies for backend systems, ensuring scalability and reliability. - Conducting performance testing for applications developed using Python and Vue.js. - Analyzing performance test results and providing recommendations for performance improvements. - Collaborating with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in Python for developing test scripts and automation frameworks. - Familiarity with Python libraries like pytest, unittest, or PyMS for testing microservices. - Experience in UI automation testing for map-based applications or geospatial tools. - Ability to test RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or Python-based libraries. - Familiarity with database testing for backend services, ensuring proper CRUD operations and data validations. - Understanding of microservices architecture, including service discovery, API testing, and error handling. - Familiarity with Kubernetes. - Experience in unit testing components, end-to-end (E2E) testing, and integration testing for frontend applications. - Experience in creating automated test suites for frontend workflows using modern frameworks like Selenium. - Proven experience in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks from scratch for both backend and frontend systems. - Ability to design comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. - Strong debugging skills to identify issues in both backend microservices and frontend applications during automated tests. - Expertise in performance testing tools and methodologies, such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools to identify and resolve performance issues. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Effective communication with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the development lifecycle. - 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing In addition to the challenging work you will undertake, you will love this job because: - You will have the opportunity to work with the industry's most sophisticated testing technologies and help customers transition into the new testing realities of the digital world. - You will have overall responsibility and authority for Amdocs" testing engagement with the customer, finding opportunities for growth and driving them to completion. - Amdocs is a dynamic, multi-cultural organization that constantly innovates and empowers its employees to grow. - Amdocs provides stellar benefits including health insurance, accidental insurance, life insurance, and multiple leave benefits. - You can build an outstanding career path with Amdocs due to their industry-leading internal mobility policies.
