Support Technician

As a Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving technical issues at on-site locations. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing system faults related to AC to DC converter drivers and other electronic modules, performing hardware connectivity checks, troubleshooting relay modules and microcontroller-based systems, and utilizing tools like multimeters for hardware diagnostics. In addition, you will need to have a good understanding of basic Linux commands for system-level troubleshooting and be able to address hardware-related system crashes and malfunctions effectively. You will be expected to conduct field visits to various locations to attend to system issues promptly and ensure timely resolution. It will be essential to document diagnostics and repair steps as part of standard reporting procedures to maintain accurate records of the work performed. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field. You must also possess basic knowledge of microcontrollers, familiarity with AC to DC converter drivers, and an understanding of relay modules and low-voltage systems. Hands-on experience with hardware tools, particularly multimeters, is required, along with basic command-line knowledge in Linux for tasks such as navigation and service restarts. A problem-solving mindset, the ability to work independently in field conditions, strong hardware troubleshooting skills (including PCB-level inspection), and a willingness to travel for on-site support are crucial attributes for success in this position.,
