Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Formulize supplier evaluation form and evaluate the suppliers based on the financial or commercial viability technical and skill capability
Verify and improve the supplementary slip issued against the deviation lots rejected or segregated material
Provide and monitor supplier quality rating to the purchase department
Monitor monthly PPM and review and submit the supplier wise report to the purchase department
Set targets and define action plan to improve the quality of the suppliers through capability building and providing the desired support
Monitor the RQC in plants and summarize based on the observations and data
Plan and execute actions to be taken to eliminate the deviation in the receiving quality of the material
Conduct yearly audits of the supplier and parts quality and provide support in improvement areas
Verify Direct On Line DOL Parts for PPAP and regular inspection of non DOL parts as per the plan
Provide support in the supplier finalization for the new businesses and projects align with the sourcing department to finalize the new suppliers
