Job Purpose/ Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and manage the smooth and efficient operation of the sinter plant during the assigned shift. This includes ensuring the production process meets quality, safety, and productivity standards while adhering to operational procedures and guidelines. The Shift Incharge will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, optimizing processes, and leading the team to ensure continuous and effective sinter production.

Oversee the production planning and control of the sinter operation, ensuring that all processes are running efficiently and effectively.Ensure adherence to all industrial safety norms to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.Utilize IT skills to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and analyze data to make informed decisions.Make critical decisions regarding production activities, quality control, and workforce management.Liaise with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and coordination.Guide and manage the workforce, providing direction and support to ensure high-quality production activities.Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen, understanding the impact of decisions on the business and making choices that benefit the company.Foster an entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement within the team.Cultivate a global mindset, understanding and appreciating diverse cultures and perspectives.Strive for people excellence, developing and nurturing talent within the team, and managing conflicts effectively.Special emphasis on conflict management, decision making, liaising, people management, and guiding the workforce regarding work/production activities/quality.
