Support Manager, FIX Connectivity, Information Technology

As the FIX Infrastructure Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: - Taking care of FIX infrastructure and associated changes - Certifying clients and onboarding them in Production - Conducting FIX QA related activities - Coordinating with other teams such as application and infrastructure teams - Reviewing the work of junior team members for quality and timely delivery - Mentoring and training junior staff - Handling Incident and problem management and participating in escalations procedures in FIX space - Collaborating with developers and working across teams for QA projects - Interacting with business users and clients to investigate any issues with electronic order flow - Working on SQL, Unix & proprietary trading environment - Assisting in rollouts for new/existing Markets and products - Participating in Critical Projects with demanding time frames - Working on various in-house developed systems and assisting with QA for the same - Utilizing Bloomberg and various automation tools to continuously automate processes - Following standards and best practices, involving the broader technology organization when necessary - Analyzing problems and creating definitive test suites for the same Qualifications required: - University Graduate with a Technical Engineering (B.E/B. Tech)/MCA degree - Experience working in Equities Brokerage Front Office role for Capital Markets - Exposure to working in Production Support and QA environment - Direct experience working with end customers/business, vendors, and other project stakeholders - FIX Protocol experience, especially around FIX certification process - Good working knowledge of SQL & Unix - QA experience with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - FIX client onboarding experience with the ability to fix issues on the fly - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - 8 to 12 years of IT Experience - Good command of spoken and written English,
