Job Summary:

The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the placement process for students, providing career guidance and support, and ensuring that students are placed in relevant jobs or internships. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong network of industry contacts, and a passion for student development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide career guidance and support to students, including resume building, interview preparation, and skill development.

- Handle student queries and concerns related to placements, internships, and job opportunities.

- Ensure students are job-ready and meet the industry requirements.

- Coordinate with companies to schedule campus placements, internships, and job fairs.

- Ensure smooth execution of placement drives, including scheduling interviews and managing logistics.

- Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners, alumni, and other stakeholders.

- Identify new business opportunities and build a pipeline of potential employers.

- Track and analyze placement metrics, including placement rates, job types, and industry feedback.

- Provide regular updates to the management team on placement progress and challenges.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline

- 1-3 years of experience in placement, recruitment, or HR

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle student queries and provide support

- Strong network of industry contacts

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Proficiency in MS Office
