Annotator/Labeler Job Description Role Overview A Data Annotator/Labeler is responsible for creating high-quality labeled datasets used for various analytical purposes. This role involves working with multiple data types including images, text, audio to prepare structured datasets according to project guidelines. The work supports the development of data-driven solutions across multiple industries and applications. Key Responsibilities Review and label various types of data according to established guidelines Process images through detailed visual inspection, comparison, and categorization Identify visual elements, objects, or features within images based on project criteria Evaluate image quality and apply appropriate quality benchmarks Perform structured data entry and organization tasks using Excel and other tools Apply judgment skills to maintain quality standards across processes Analyze text data for relevant patterns, topics, or characteristics Required Skills Strong attention to detail and consistency in labeling tasks Proficiency with Excel for data entry and reporting Excellent judgment skills for establishing and maintaining quality standards Experience with basic data annotation tools and platform Visual analysis capabilities for image-based work Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in data annotation, data entry, or related fields 3-5 years Familiarity with different annotation methodologies (bounding boxes, semantic segmentation, etc.)
