Job Title: Strategy Manager


Location : NCR (Gurgaon office) or Bangalore

Dentsu, a major player in the advertising world, is steadily gaining a stronger presence in the consulting industry through Dentsu BX. Though less known to the public, Dentsu's consulting business is attracting attention within the consulting industry for its unique strengths, which rival those of dedicated consulting firms. What sets Dentsu apart is its foundation in advertising, which enables it to leverage an unparalleled business model that combines consulting with advertising expertise.


Dentsu's consulting business emerged naturally from its core advertising operations. The role of advertising is to solve clients’ problems, deliver value, and contribute to their growth. Advertising and marketing are just tools for achieving these goals, but when those alone are not sufficient, Dentsu expands its range of solutions, strengthening its capabilities as needed. Over time, this has evolved into its current DX and BX business capabilities.


Here’s a practical example: A client might request a campaign for a new product launch. While creating the campaign, Dentsu might identify a fundamental issue—such as the need to change the product development or sales channels for better growth, far beyond the scope of advertising. This broader perspective allows Dentsu to offer more comprehensive solutions


Summary

Dentsu’s business transformation practice is seeking a highly motivated Strategy Manager to play a key role in shaping our future. In this dual role, you'll wear two hats:


Consulting (for client’s businesses)-


Strategy & Ops (for Dentsu’s own business transformation practice):


Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, competitor landscape, and internal operations. Identify and assess strategic opportunities and threats to inform decision-making.

Develop and present clear, actionable recommendations for achieving our strategic objectives. Manage and track the progress of key strategic initiatives.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall strategy.

Translate strategic goals into measurable metrics and KPIs.

Communicate complex strategic information to diverse audiences.

Support the development and implementation of strategic business cases and presentations.

Manage client relationships, building trust and exceeding expectations.


Qualifications:

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Minimum 2+ years of experience in strategy development and execution.

Clarity in thought and passion for execution

Should love storytelling, numbers & deep analysis

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
