Description
As a Strategic Account Manager at LRQA, you will play a crucial role in developing and winning new business opportunities with existing and target strategic accounts. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining strong relationships with key individuals in client accounts, leading strategic sales priorities, introducing new products and services, and supporting strategic bids. You will be focused on delivering results by managing a selection of strategic accounts to achieve annual revenue targets, with a strong emphasis on retention, revenue growth, and acquiring new clients. Your account management skills will be instrumental in developing and delivering strategic account plans, growing the network of influencers within client organizations, and maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities. Effective pipeline management will be essential to ensure that your client pipelines are sufficient to meet targets, engaging with colleagues and local Strategic Account Managers to maximize opportunities. You will also be responsible for the preparation and delivery of account plans that drive strategic growth initiatives and prioritize opportunities for success. In addition, you will be tasked with managing contract renewals, participating in RFPs, identifying and solving client problems through customized solutions, and maintaining a strong strategic knowledge of the market. Your ability to contribute to sales meetings, produce accurate reports, and communicate effectively in English and another widely used business language will be key to your success. To qualify for this role, you should have demonstrable experience in achieving annual sales targets in a B2B environment, selling products and services to large strategic organizations. Experience with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001, among others, is highly desirable. Proficiency in using standard IT programs, Salesforce, and Microsoft D365, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across teams, are also essential requirements.
