We are seeking a dedicated STP Operator to handle the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP). The role involves ensuring smooth functioning of the treatment process, compliance with environmental standards, and maintaining water quality for reuse/purification. Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor STP equipment and machinery (pumps, blowers, aerators, etc.). Check inlet/outlet water parameters and maintain records of water quality. Conduct routine checks of motors, valves, and pipelines for smooth functioning. Perform preventive maintenance, backwashing, and cleaning of filters and tanks. Handle sludge disposal and chemical dosing as per requirement. Record operational data such as flow rates, pressure, and chemical consumption. Troubleshoot minor operational issues and report major breakdowns to the supervisor. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
