Store Operations – Mechanical

Role Summary:
Manage inventory and movement of mechanical components such as sheet metal parts, structural assemblies, bearings, Camera enclosure components, brackets, fasteners etc. used in precision agri-tech machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify mechanical parts such as fasteners, bearings, shafts, seals, camera enclosures, etc.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/Inventory Management Software.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for mechanical spares (corrosion protection, labeling, etc.).
• Coordinate with procurement, R&D and maintenance teams for material requirement planning (MRP).
• Track inward/outward flow for sub-assemblies and vendor returns through documentation
• Conduct monthly stock audits and report discrepancies.
• Implement FIFO methods and bin card systems.
• Manage scrap disposal, return of defective items, and warranty tracking.
• Ensure safety protocols while handling heavy or sharp parts.

Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical store management in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components and nomenclature.
• Familiarity with ERP tools like SAP, Oracle, or Tally Prime.
• Good coordination and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to manage fast-moving R&D + production inventory.
