Job Description

Inventory & Stock Management

Maintain optimum stock levels for products.
Monitor goods receipt and issue as per sales orders and purchase orders.
Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Operations & Process Management
Oversee inward and outward material movement with proper documentation.
Coordinate with purchase and sales teams for timely order fulfillment.
Maintain accurate records in ERP/software for stock, GRN, delivery challans, and invoices.
Team Management
Supervise store assistants/workers and assign daily tasks.
Train staff in material handling, safety, and process compliance.
Monitor workforce efficiency and adherence to timelines.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
Follow safety protocols for handling heavy/industrial products.
Reporting & Coordination
Provide daily/weekly stock and movement reports to management.
Highlight slow-moving/obsolete items and suggest corrective actions.
Liaise with logistics partners, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
