Store Keeper

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage inventory and store operations at our project sites for mechanical and electrical works. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in storekeeping and inventory control within a project or construction environment.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of site operations by maintaining accurate records of materials, tools, and equipment received, issued, and stored.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day store operations at the project site.
• Receive, inspect, and properly record all incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
• Issue materials as per project requirements while maintaining proper documentation.
• Maintain inventory records manually and/or using software tools.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure safe storage, labeling, and handling of all materials.
• Coordinate with site engineers, procurement teams, and vendors.
• Perform regular stock audits and assist in reconciliation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in storekeeping, preferably in mechanical/electrical project environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and stock control procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and stock levels.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting (Excel, inventory software, etc.).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Educational background in engineering, technical, or related fields is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) materials is a plus.
