Store Keeper

Job Role: Store KeeperJob Purpose

The Store Keeper is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and controlling all materials, tools, and equipment in the store/warehouse. The role ensures proper stock management, timely issue of materials to site/project/office requirements, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining inventory as per company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management
• Receive, check, and record all incoming materials, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain proper stock levels and update stock registers (manual or ERP/Zoho/SAP).
• Conduct regular physical verification of stock and report discrepancies.
• Material Handling
• Ensure safe storage, handling, and preservation of materials.
• Issue materials to project/site staff against approved requisitions.
• Keep track of returnable and non-returnable items.
• Documentation & Records
• Maintain inward and outward register, challans, and gate passes.
• Verify supplier invoices/delivery challans with Purchase Orders.
• Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and other store-related documents.
• Coordination
• Coordinate with the Purchase/Procurement Department for timely replenishment.
• Communicate shortages, damages, or quality issues immediately.
• Assist project/site engineers in getting the required material on time.
• Compliance & Safety
• Follow company’s SOPs for store operations.
• Ensure materials are stored in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Keep the store area clean, organized, and secure.
• Reporting
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly stock reports to the Site/Project/Head Office.
• Highlight slow-moving, excess, or non-moving items for management action.
• Maintain records for audits and inspections.

Desired Skills & Qualification

• Graduate / Diploma holder (preferably in Store/Inventory/Warehouse Management).
• 2–5 years of experience in Store/Material handling (Construction / Interior / Industrial projects preferred).
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Inventory Software (SAP/Zoho/Tally).
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Honest, disciplined, and detail-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
