State Business Manager

About the role : The State Business Manager at Recykal is responsible for leading and scaling business operations across one or more states, with complete P&L accountability for the Plastic category. This role demands a strong focus on revenue growth, partner engagement, and team leadership, aligned with strategic business goals. Roles and Responsibilities : Responsible for overseeing one or more states to meet business objectives. Accountable for the Profit and Loss of the region concerning Plastic categories. Focused on driving essential metrics such as GMV, Quantity, Margin Percentage, Category Mix, and the number of Active Sellers and Buyers. Tasked with recruiting, training, and deploying appropriate resources at the District level to achieve overall business objectives. Responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with key partners (Vendors/Recyclers/Brands). Engaging with Cross-Functional teams as needed to ensure seamless operations. Leading and expanding existing and new territories through large on ground teams. Leading a team comprising Cluster Managers, Business Development Specialists, Quality Analysts, and Operations Executives. Ideal Candidate Profile: MBA from a recognized university or business school. Over 5 years of experience in sales within E-commerce, Telecom, or Fintech sectors. Should have in depth knowledge State/ Region topography Proven experience in building and managing teams Demonstrated flexibility and problem-solving abilities, with a strong sense of ownership and results orientation. Capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while planning and overseeing various projects.
