Staff Engineer, CPU Software Test Engineer (Server)

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Your work will contribute to launching cutting-edge, world-class products that exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams is essential to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Create software/firmware test plans with a focus on requirements traceability matrix and test coverage for feature requirements - Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated software/firmware test suites to verify quality and compliance of Qualcomm products at functional, integration, and system levels - Conduct manual testing to ensure a seamless customer experience during the installation and deployment of Qualcomm hardware and software in mobile, compute, and automotive environments - Assist in establishing a Quality Engineering/Release engineering process emphasizing continuous integration and continuous deployment - Work towards achieving production-level software readiness by implementing customer use-cases, workload analysis models, workload creation, and collaborating with other teams on bring-up/debug/diags - Focus on optimizing existing Operating Systems and customer usage environments for improved power and performance Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years - 3+ years of experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Additional Company Details: Qualcomm is committed to providing an accessible process for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
