SSE - Experiences Backend

As a software engineer at MX, you will be part of a team that develops next-generation technologies to revolutionize how billions of users interact with their finances. You will collaborate with top engineering talent across various areas such as development, design, search, platform, test, quality, big data, front end, and back end. Your responsibilities will include estimating engineering efforts, designing changes, implementing and testing changes, pushing to live, and troubleshooting production issues. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute to system architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and lead by example to elevate engineering practices across the team. You will drive projects to implement high-quality systems and products, and provide guidance, coaching, and support to engineers with a focus on feedback and growth. Basic Job Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - 5 years of experience in software development with data structures or algorithms - 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products - 1 year of experience in software design and architecture The work environment at MX involves working in the office for a standard 40-hour workweek. Face-to-face interactions and collaboration among team members are valued to foster a dynamic and productive work environment. The compensation for this role may include a base salary and additional forms of cash compensation like bonuses or commissions.
