Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to support the

Customer Experience Engineering (CXE) Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team

. The role involves developing, managing, and automating

CI/CD pipelines

and

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

for large-scale cloud platforms. The candidate will be responsible for

AWS environment management, automation of defect remediation workflows, and pipeline optimization

using

GitHub Actions

and

CloudBees CDRO

. The goal is to enhance system reliability, accelerate deployment cycles, and improve the overall developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD and IaC Pipeline Development
- Build, enhance, and maintain automated pipelines for infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
- Implement and optimize workflows in
  GitHub Actions
  and
  CloudBees CDRO
  (using JavaScript/Groovy).
AWS Environment Management
- Manage and maintain scalable, stable, and compliant AWS environments.
- Ensure adherence to cloud best practices.
Defect Remediation Automation
- Deliver automated systems for defect discovery, analysis, and resolution.
- Maintain consistent workflows integrated with
  Jira
  and
  CDETS
  .
Process & Reporting
- Provide weekly progress/status reports, quality reviews, and defect resolution metrics.
- Ensure SLA compliance (timely delivery of user stories/defects,
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Deliver technical designs, remediation procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Provide training documentation for long-term maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

8 11 years of relevant experience in
SRE / AWS DevOps
roles.
Strong expertise in
AWS cloud environment management
.
Hands-on experience with
CI/CD automation
using
GitHub Actions
and
CloudBees CDRO
.
Proficiency in
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
and automation scripting (JavaScript, Groovy, or similar).
Experience with
defect remediation workflows
and integration with tools like
Jira/CDETS
.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and process automation skills.
