You will be joining Sparrow Smart Solutions, an EdTech start-up based in Patia, Bhubaneswar, dedicated to enhancing automation and effective management of Administrative, Academic, and Financial activities in educational institutions. Sparrow Campus, our flagship Institute management system, is a powerful and cost-effective platform available on the web, android, and iOS, catering to Admins, Teachers, Students, and Parents. As a WordPress Developer, your primary responsibilities will include developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. You should possess a strong background in front-end and back-end development, with proficiency in theme and plugin customization, as well as website optimization. Collaborating with designers, marketers, and content creators will be essential to enhance website functionality. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to meet project requirements. - Create custom themes and plugins for various functionalities. - Optimize website performance, speed, and security. - Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve website functionality. - Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility. - Keep abreast of the latest WordPress trends and technologies for continuous improvement. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Extensive experience with WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins. - Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. - Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg. - Knowledge of website hosting, domain management, and security practices. - Experience with version control systems like Git is advantageous. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
