Sr. Wordpress Developer

We are seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our WordPress websites and ensuring their optimal performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and enhance the user experience. Responsibilities of Sr. WordPress Developer:

Ø Would be able to lead the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability as per the set industry standards

Ø Perfectly and timely collaborate with the design, front-end and content teams to implement and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements with high scalability

Ø Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, adhering to best practices and coding standards that can be verified with the testing team for ensuring the quality measures

Ø Optimize website performance, including page load speed, caching, and database optimization along with the other aspects to make it perfect

Ø Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress websites, including debugging and fixing bugs, compatibility issues, and plugin conflicts

Ø Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, assisting them in problem-solving and code reviews.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development and propose innovative solutions to enhance our websites.

Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and provide accurate timelines for development tasks.

Ø Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality, compatibility, and responsiveness of WordPress websites across different devices and browsers.

Ø Stay informed about website security best practices and implement necessary measures to protect against vulnerabilities and cyber threats.

Ø Staying at the forefront of web development by researching and implementing emerging technologies and trends

Ø Implementing advanced performance optimization techniques, including server-side optimizations, caching strategies, and content delivery networks (CDNs)

Ø Ensuring robust security measures, including data encryption, user authentication, and protection against common web vulnerabilities

Ø Mentoring junior team members, offering guidance on complex development tasks, troubleshooting, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications & Skill Set: -

Ø Proven experience (5+ years) working as a WordPress Developer, with a focus on custom theme and plugin development.

Ø It's better to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Ø Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Ø Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, including themes, plugins, and core functionality.

Ø Experience with popular WordPress frameworks, such as Genesis, Divi, or Elementor.

Ø Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ø Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.

Ø Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools.

Ø Expertise in responsive design principles and ensuring websites are optimized for various devices and screen sizes.

Ø Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

Ø Solid experience in controlling hosting and cPanel.
