Sr. Tech Lead - Open Source Technologies -C14 - PUNE

The Applications Development Group Manager is a senior management position responsible for managing a team and contributing hands-on to establish and implement new application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The primary goal is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities. We are looking for a highly experienced SVP of Technology to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building global technology solutions, driving innovation, and delivering industry-defining products. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to set product vision and strategy, code large-scale projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Utilize comprehensive knowledge to develop and deliver solutions within the area **Leadership & Strategy:** - Set the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives - Lead a global technology organization, fostering innovation and engineering excellence - Champion technology exploration and build relationships with key stakeholders **Product Development & Delivery:** - Oversee the product development lifecycle from ideation to maintenance - Ensure timely delivery of products within budget and resource constraints - Implement effective product development methodologies and drive modern technologies" adoption **Team Management & Development:** - Mentor engineering teams and foster a collaborative work environment **Innovation & Growth:** - Identify new technologies to drive innovation and growth - Lead new product development and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes **Collaboration & Communication:** - Communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, marketing, and sales Qualifications: - 17+ years of experience in technology leadership roles - Experience working with global technology teams - Deep understanding of software development methodologies and architecture principles - Hands-on experience with Open source technologies like Java/Springboot, Kafka, Openshift/Docker/Kubernates - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Experience in building and scaling SaaS platforms - Experience in a large financial conglomerate - Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred Education: - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Master's degree preferred This position falls under the Technology job family group with a focus on Applications Development.
