Sr. SW Development Engineer

The main purpose of your role will involve leading and supervising a team of 2 or more professionals. You will be the first-level manager of a work team that may consist of professionals, technical, and/or administrative staff. In this position, you will focus on mentoring, coaching, and coordination. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, implementing, and updating electronic data systems to align with the organization's requirements. Your main responsibilities will revolve around coordinating the design development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or significant enhancements to existing software. You will collaborate with technical staff to identify software issues and create specifications to address them. Your activities will encompass evaluating, scheduling, and resourcing development projects, understanding user needs, writing, testing, and maintaining computer programs, as well as preparing systems. Additionally, you will handle escalated customer complaints, propose suggestions for improvements and enhancements, and may also contribute to the development of software user manuals. To qualify for this role, you should possess an Associate's Degree (or equivalent of 13 years of education) and have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the field.,
