Sr. Software Engineer - PHP / Laravel

As a Sr. Software Engineer - PHP at Flexsin, your role involves optimizing monolithic legacy codebases and newer repositories using PHP, Codeignitor, Laravel, Cakephp, and WordPress. You will work in an agile environment with Project Managers to complete user stories. Additionally, you will cooperate with QA, Application Support, and DevOps teams to triage bugs and coordinate with other Engineering Leads/Managers. Your responsibilities also include converting complex business rules and workflows from User Story requirements into bespoke Sales Force type CRM applications, working with large database schemas using MySQL, and writing Unit tests and Documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Optimize monolithic legacy codebases and newer repositories using PHP, Codeignitor, Laravel, Cakephp, WordPress - Work in an agile environment with Project Managers to complete user stories - Cooperate with QA, Application Support, and DevOps teams to triage bugs - Coordinate with other Engineering Leads/Managers - Convert complex business rules and workflows from User Story requirements into bespoke Sales Force type CRM applications - Work with large database schemas using MySQL - Write Unit tests and Documentation Qualifications & Skills: - 3-5 years of experience with OOP, SQL, Rest API - Proficient in PHP, Laravel, Codeignitor, Cakephp, WordPress, etc. - Knowledge of database design and querying using MySQL - Proficiency in HTML, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery - Practical experience using the MVC architecture - Experience working directly with a project-based or service-based company - Proficient in scalable architecture and application development - Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, etc. - Proficient in version control using Git or SVN - Problem-solving skills and critical mindset - Good communication skills,
