Job Description

ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch to ensure optimal performance and availability of cloud infrastructure
Analyze system performance metrics and logs to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish best practices for infrastructure management and monitoring
Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure configurations, monitoring setups, and incident response procedures
Respond to alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as necessary
Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure infrastructure scalability and reliability
Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features, particularly those related to monitoring and management
Provide training and support to team members on AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools
Mandatory SkillsStrong expertise in AWS CloudWatch, including setting up alarms, dashboards, and metrics
Proficient in cloud infrastructure management, particularly within AWS environments
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and system architecture
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with other AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Certifications in AWS (eg, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus
