About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake to design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines. You will work closely with analysts, data scientists, and application teams to deliver reliable, high-performance, and secure data solutions that drive critical business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines on Snowflake using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and dbt.Build and maintain ELT processes ingesting data from diverse sources into Snowflake using cloud-native services and orchestration tools.Manage and optimize multi-account Snowflake environments for cost, performance, and security.Write efficient SQL transformations and automate workflows using dbt and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and application teams to deliver business-critical data products.Implement and enforce data governance and quality frameworks.Integrate Python scripts (Pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy) for advanced processing and ML model integration.Preferred Skills & Experience7+ years of data engineering experience, with 3+ years hands-on with Snowflake in enterprise environments.Strong expertise in Python for data engineering.Experience with metadata management, data cataloging, and column-level lineage.Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).Familiarity with data governance frameworks.Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification preferred.
