Sr. Site Reliability Engineer, L2(Network)

Role Overview: As a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (Network) L2, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing complex network environments. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operations of large-scale deployments and high-availability systems. Your expertise in advanced troubleshooting will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues such as performance problems, security vulnerabilities, and interoperability challenges. Additionally, you will be expected to plan and execute network changes with minimal disruption, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions. Your experience with network automation tools and scripting, such as Ansible and Python, will be essential in automating network processes. A deep understanding of network security best practices and technologies will enable you to ensure the security of network infrastructure. You will also be required to analyze network performance data and implement optimizations for enhanced performance. Proficiency in cloud networking concepts and technologies, including AWS VPC and Azure VNet, will be beneficial for this role. Specific expertise in advanced routing protocols like BGP, software-defined networking (SDN), network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs), container networking, and Infrastructure as Code will be advantageous.
