Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAS Developer with strong expertise in SAS programming, SAS DI Studio, and ETL development. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing and implementing data integration solutions and reporting frameworks to support business analytics and data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and reporting.Develop and manage ETL workflows using SAS Data Integration (DI) Studio.Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation for large datasets from multiple sources.Build reusable SAS macros, libraries, and automation scripts to improve efficiency.Optimize and troubleshoot existing SAS code for performance and reliability.Create reports and dashboards using SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics (if applicable), or other BI tools.Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.Ensure data integrity and maintain detailed technical documentation.Required Skills:Hands-on experience in Base SAS, SAS Macros, SAS SQL, and SAS Enterprise Guide.Expertise in SAS DI Studio for building ETL jobs and data pipelines.Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data profiling, and transformation logic.Proficient in working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, etc.).Experience with data warehousing environments and understanding of data modeling.Excellent debugging and performance tuning skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to SAS Viya, SAS Grid, or SAS Visual Analytics.Experience in BFSI and Govt domains.Familiarity with Python, R, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
