Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Job Location: Mumbai/Nagpur

Experience: 6 to 10 years

Shift Timings: 4-5 Hrs. extension of the regular shift (3:30 PM to 12:30 OR 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality software by applying strong testing fundamentals within the SDLC.
• Collaborate in Agile environments utilizing the Scrum framework, participating in ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely project status updates and escalating critical issues as needed.
• Work closely with team members to share knowledge and improve testing strategies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Perform both UI and API testing to validate software functionality and performance.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in either TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python for test automation.
• Familiarity with Page Object Model (POM) design for test automation.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest or Cypress/Playwright, ensuring the development of simple and reusable automated tests.
• Strong debugging skills using browser developer tools, DataDog, and other diagnostic methods.
• Ability to work independently and proactively seek out necessary information.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and the command line.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools like Copilot or Gemini to enhance coding efficiency.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the health tech industry.
• Hands-on experience writing UI automation tests using the Playwright framework.
