Application Development Fusion Cloud Technical Specialist (Oracle APEX Expertise) at Tech Mahindra

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX, with a focus on the most recent releases (such as 21.x and above).
• Utilize Oracle Fusion Cloud platforms to architect secure, scalable, and effective business solutions.
• Build and optimize REST API integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and external/internal systems.
• Write, review, and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code to ensure peak performance and reliability of database-driven components.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Leverage Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for seamless connectivity and data flow across cloud and on-premise applications.
• Consult with stakeholders to assess existing application landscapes and recommend strategies for modernization and migration to the Oracle Cloud platform.
• Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer to team members and clients.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to application errors and integration failures.
• Stay current with new Oracle APEX and Fusion Cloud features, best practices, and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Oracle APEX Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, including work with recent releases (21.x and above). Demonstrated expertise in building enterprise-grade applications, customizations, and enhancements using Oracle APEX.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud Technologies: At least 8 years of experience developing and deploying solutions within the Oracle Fusion Cloud ecosystem. This includes modules such as Oracle ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, and SCM Cloud.
• API Integration: Solid understanding and practical experience with REST API design, development, and integration techniques. Ability to manage authentication, security, and data transformations for seamless interoperability between applications.
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL: Strong command of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming for developing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Experience with performance tuning and database optimization.
• Front End Technologies: Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, to enhance user experience and interface development within Oracle APEX applications.
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): Experience with OIC is considered a valuable asset, enabling the specialist to build, orchestrate, and monitor integrations across disparate systems and services.

Professional Experience Grade and Range

• Minimum Total Experience: 5 to 8 years in application development roles, with a concentration in Oracle APEX and Oracle Fusion Cloud technologies.

• Certifications: Oracle APEX and Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications are highly desirable, indicating a formal recognition of expertise and commitment to professional development.
• Oracle Cloud Applications: Experience with additional Oracle Cloud applications, such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle CX Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), further enhances the value proposition of the candidate.
