Sr. MERN Developer

As a Senior MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development efforts for our US-based client. Your expertise in building and scaling full-stack applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability will be crucial. Your key responsibilities will include developing, testing, and deploying robust full-stack applications using the MERN stack. You will lead the integration and management of APIs and third-party services, optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, perform code reviews to maintain high-quality standards, and mentor junior developers. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance. To excel in this role, you must have a strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, including ES6+ features. You should have extensive experience with React.js, Next.js, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap on the frontend, and expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB on the backend. Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture is also necessary. Proficiency in Git, knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with AWS or Azure for cloud deployments, and understanding of tools like Webpack, Babel, and testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha are required. You should also have experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth and JWT, and implementation of security best practices. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus. This is a full-time position with working hours in IST (6:30 PM - 2:30 AM), and the role is for an individual contributor. Immediate joining is required, and excellent command of the English language is a must. You should have a personal Mac laptop/desktop or be willing to rent one for system requirements.
