Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, scale and enhance our internal and external microservices that encapsulate our platform functionality
Take a hands-on lead in platform design, development, architecture, execution and adoption
Collaborate with architects, developers for code reviews and troubleshooting
Hire, mentor and develop a world-class team of engineers, instilling and fostering a high-performance culture
Collaborate with team members and SRE team to improve system stability and observability
Engage with business leaders, product owners and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into executable solutions
Ensure our applications and processes are adapting to business changes or changes to technology
Stay abreast of latest/emerging technologies

Project Requirements:

Proven Java developer with a minimum of 8 years of experience and proficiency with Spring framework, Spring Boot and MicroServices
Experience in one other language, either Ruby/Rails or Python is a bonus
Must possess strong SQL and experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL)
Must possess experience working with AWS technologies
Experience with Kafka & Elasticsearch and working knowledge of JavaScript, Query, and Bootstrap is a bonus
A robust understanding of leading industry technologies is a plus
Ability to work in an agile team with an understanding of software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, CI/CD, etc.)
An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
