Sr Java Engineer

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, systems engineering, or related fields
• Experience with programming languages and environments for data analysis
• Proactive problem detection and resolution
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in java programming language
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and CDK
• Strong foundation in data structures, software designs, micro services, and containers
• Github experience is a must
• Experience with relational and no-sql databases
• Experience in writing unit, integration, and smoke tests
• Experience of working in agile teams
• Elasticsearch + Kibana experience is a plus
  

Other Requirements

• Candidates will be required to work from our Gurgaon office 3 times a week
• No separate QA or Devops teams and so selected candidates is expected to write all tests, deploy code, implement observability and maintain software in Production
• Team collaborates with counterparts on US west coast frequently and so selected candidates should be willing to work a few hours during India evening time
• Required to attend daily stand ups, sprint planning and sprint closing ceremonies
