Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Java Developer with 3-6 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise using Java 8+, Spring Boot, Kafka, MySQL, and MongoDB, with hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Git-based version control, and cloud platforms like AWS.

Familiarity with React.js or frontend development will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate microservices
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
• Design and optimize schemas, queries, and data flows using MySQL and MongoDB
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools
• Use Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) for version control and collaboration
• Deploy, monitor, and scale services on AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and daily Agile/Scrum activities
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and frontend developers

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Java 8 or higher
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Proficiency with Apache Kafka (producer/consumer architecture, stream processing)
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases: MySQL and MongoDB
• Experience with Jenkins and automated CI/CD workflows
• Proficient with Git and repository management workflows
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services — preferred
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and secure API development
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Nice to Have:

• Working knowledge of React.js or frontend development practices
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Exposure to Redis
• Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, or other authentication mechanisms

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of professional experience in backend development with the listed technologies
