Description
In this role, your responsibilities will be to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and React.js. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code is essential, along with optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. Additionally, you will integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, tackle and debug issues across the stack, and stay up to date with new technologies and standard methodologies. For this role, you will need: - 5-8 years of experience in full-stack development using Node.js and React.js - Experience with TypeScript - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 - Experience with Express.js, Redux, Webpack, and related frameworks/tools - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) - Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL - Understanding CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus - Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress Preferred qualifications that set you apart: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science with a technical background (MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field) - Good interpersonal skills using English, both spoken and written, as you will be working with an overseas team Our culture & commitment to you: By joining Emerson, you will be given the opportunity to make a difference through the work you do.
