Sr Engineer- .NET Developer

You will work with Qualcomm India Private Limited in the Engineering Group, specifically in the Software Engineering team. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs using .NET or Java. - Being well versed with different types of databases. - Writing optimized, scalable, and high-performance backend code. - Collaborating with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and software reliability. - Integrating data from various backend services and databases. - Creating and maintaining detailed software documentation. - Delivering high-quality work within project timelines. - Mentoring junior team members and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and presentations. Qualifications required for this role are: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. - OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. - OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Preferred qualifications include: - 2+ years of overall software development experience. - 2+ years of experience with backend technologies such as Java, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Docker. - 2+ years of experience with SQL or other database management systems. - 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot and REST API development; familiarity with protocols like socket or Thrift APIs is a plus. - 2+ years of experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
