Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment of PHP and Python applications.
• Deploy and manage scalable, secure infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Monitor application and system performance; troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth deployments and optimal runtime environments.
• Manage and maintain Linux-based servers for web hosting, background jobs, and other services.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Zabbix).
• Ensure system security, compliance, and backup policies are enforced.
• Continuously evaluate new tools and practices to improve deployment speed, reliability, and scalability.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role with strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, etc.).
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Experience working with PHP and Python applications in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Code Commit, AWS Code build.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system performance tuning.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
