Sr. Backend Dev (Java)

As an agile and next-generation digital accelerating company, Fulcrum Digital is seeking a Java Developer to contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based/Angular applications with high-volume and low-latency requirements. You will analyze user requirements, define business objectives, and envision system features and functionality. Ensuring that application designs align with business goals, you will develop and test software, identify and resolve technical issues, and create detailed design documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain Java-based/Angular applications - Analyze user requirements and define business objectives - Envision system features and functionality - Develop and test software, identifying and resolving technical issues - Create detailed design documentation - Propose changes to current Java infrastructure - Develop technical designs for application development - Write well-designed, testable code - Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging - Manage Java and Java EE/Angular application development - Develop documentation to assist users - Prepare and release software components - Support continuous improvement and present alternatives and technologies for architectural review Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of Java 8/11 Concepts, Collections, Multi-threading/Parallelism, Exception Handling, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Sorting/Search Algorithm, Space and Time Complexity - Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring JPA, SQL or Postgres, REST API, Spring Security, JWT, Microservices Patterns, Distributed Systems, Splunk, CRUD operations, Performance tuning - Experience in Unit, Functional & Integration testing, Problem Solving, Analytical Thinking, Troubleshooting Skills - Proven experience in Agile methodology, SDLC, and project implementation - Good communication skills, both verbal and written - Proactive, self-starter, collaborative Additional Company Details: - Industry: IT Services - Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India - Job Type: Permanent - Job Opening ID: RRF_5700 Good to have skills include Kafka, UI Development with Angular/React.
