& Summary
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst who possesses a balance of platform technical knowledge and business acumen, with expertise in Goverce, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and other product modules (SPM, ITSM, etc.). The successful candidate will play a crucial part in helping our customers explore the platform product lines and design solutions that meet their specific business requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, good knowledge of ServiceNow GRC and other modules (SPM, ITSM, etc.), and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and demos to educate stakeholders on ServiceNow capabilities and drive user adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for GRC (e.g., Risk Management, Policy and Compliance, Audit Management), SPM and ITSM processes.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Analyze and determine solutions in collaboration with solution architects and product management teams.
- Present solutions for ServiceNow modules to stakeholders based on feedback from the solution architect and product management team.
- Create design documents, user stories, and requirements tracker for ServiceNow modules.
- Prepare clear and concise user stories for ServiceNow modules based on the gathered requirements for the development team.
- Utilize strong business acumen and communication skills to effectively gather requirements by asking insightful questions and applying the 5 Whys technique.
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in ServiceNow or similar platforms.
Mandatory skill sets
- Certification Preferred ITIL 4.0 Foundations
- Strong technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its modules.
- Excellent understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into technical solutions.
- Proven ability to run workshops and meetings to gather requirements.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and address customer needs.
Preferred skill sets
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform
