Job Description

The .Net Application Developer is responsible for the development of internal and external-facing products written in Microsoft's .Net Framework. This position involves maintaining and implementing new functionality in applications written in .Net that utilize SQL Server, including stored procedures and SQL Reporting Services. It is essential to have experience with Microsoft's SQL Server 2012 or later. Working within a team of developers with similar complimentary skills, the developer must meet deadlines while delivering quality code. The key responsibilities of the role include designing, developing, and supporting specific functionality as directed by a Team Leader, creating new screens and objects in ASP.Net/C# using .NET Core and MVC5, developing REST-based services such as WCF and OData, writing queries using Linq and Entity Framework 6.0 or later, conducting Unit, Integration, and Systems Testing of components, developing and maintaining SQL queries and stored procedures, creating and maintaining SSRS reports, communicating with the team to identify roadblocks, and ensuring the overall security of systems being administered, including protecting client data and reporting any situations that may lead to unintentional elevated access. The employee is also responsible for reviewing and enforcing corporate security standards documented in the Apex Corporate Security Standards. Preferred experience includes familiarity with REACT JS Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate should possess a four-year college degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with at least 1+ years of experience in application, database, and middle-tier component design, as well as 1+ years of experience in .Net Development (C#).
