Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable API architectures that meet business requirements.
Lead the integration of enterprise applications using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Define API standards and best practices to ensure high-quality services.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to engineering teams.
Analyze performance metrics and implement optimization strategies.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to API integration.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
12+ years of experience in API architecture and integration.
Proficiency in API management tools (e. g. , Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, Azure).
Experience with authentication and authorization protocols (e. g. , OAuth, JWT).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree in a relevant field.
Experience with GraphQL and event-driven architecture.
Certifications in API management or cloud services.
