Position : Senior Android Developer

Experience : 5+ yrs

Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled

Senior Android Developer

to join our mobile engineering team. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Android application development, a strong grasp of modern mobile architecture, and a proven track record of building scalable, high-quality apps. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences that delight our users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications in

Kotlin/Java

Lead the development of new features from concept to release, ensuring performance, usability, and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, backend, QA, product) to define, design, and ship new features.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers, performing code reviews and sharing best practices.

Implement modern

Android architectures

(MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).

Optimize applications for

speed, memory usage, and battery performance

Integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and third-party SDKs.

Ensure the security and data protection of mobile apps.

Stay updated with the latest Android frameworks, tools, and trends, and drive adoption were beneficial.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional Android development experience

Strong proficiency in

Kotlin

(Java is a plus).

Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, WorkManager, Navigation, etc.).

Experience with

Jetpack Compose

for modern UI development.

Solid knowledge of

mobile app design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture

Proficiency in working with

Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

Experience with

unit testing, UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, etc.)

Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Google Play Store release and deployment processes.

Education

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
