Job Description

You will be joining Teamware Solutions, a division of Quantum Leap Consulting Pvt. Ltd, as an SQL/MongoDB/Postgres/RDS specialist. The role is based in Bangalore and Hyderabad with a hybrid work mode. With 7-10 years of experience, you should be available to join within an immediate to 15-day notice period. Your responsibilities will include leading database migrations across various environments, such as on-premises, virtualized, and cloud, covering SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB workloads. You will design and implement migration strategies using a combination of native and third-party tools to ensure optimal performance, availability, and minimal downtime. Conducting thorough assessments of source-target compatibility, data volume, schema complexity, and transformation requirements will be key. As a Database Migration Specialist, you will define and validate Low-Level Designs (LLDs) that include network topology, storage, replication, access controls, and disaster recovery configurations. Additionally, you will orchestrate migration plans, implement data validation, rollback mechanisms, and cutover strategies aligned with business SLAs. This role requires flexibility in work timings, as the work hours are from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST.
