Specialist / Sr. Specialist, Network Security Operations

As a Network and Information Security Specialist at Colgate-Palmolive, you will be part of the Global Information Security organization, working closely with the Global Network and Information Security teams. Your role will involve managing Global Network & Global Information Security technologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Architectural understanding of Datacenter and Cloud network and correlation with different components of IT. - Architectural understanding of Landscape (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewalls) - Performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems related to Datacenter networks/cloud using synthetic and traditional monitoring tools - Analyzing business requirements to develop technical network solutions, performing network modeling, analysis, and budget planning - Monitoring and analyzing network performance, data input/output reports to detect problems - Upgrading network hardware and software components as required - People development and management - Escalation, business reviews, and analytics - Coordinating with Vendor TAC cases for resolution of the issue - Analyzing data and coming up with trend analysis Your required qualifications for this role include: - Bachelor's degree required - Minimum 3+ years of experience in Network & Security technologies - Strong understanding of Network & Security fundamentals - Good understanding of cybersecurity technology, architecture, and best practices - Modern networking knowledge and understanding (OSI, TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalling, NAT, proxies, IDS/IPS, WAF's, CDN's, SSL/TLS, etc.) - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently - Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred qualifications for this role include: - CCNA (Must to have) and CCNP & PCNSE (Preferred) - Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages like Python - Experience working with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) - In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience on Cisco Switches and Wireless, their administration/configuration & troubleshooting - In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience on routing protocols - Palo Alto SDWAN & Firewall - English Communication skills (both verbal and written),
