As a Specialist in Solutions Architecture at Fiserv, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team of professionals dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions. Your role will involve working on various technology trends such as Cloud, Containerization, event streams, DevOps, AI/ML, and more. You will play a crucial part in developing and supporting solutions aligned with business requirements, collaborating with other teams to provide holistic solutions, and ensuring the success of our business units. Your primary responsibilities will include driving full stack application development using React & Java, building distributed and scalable systems with a focus on Microservice architecture, and creating solutions and platforms for enterprise-wide reuse. You will also engage in development activities with onshore resources, conduct technical walkthroughs with stakeholders, build proof of concepts, and develop applications following industry best practices and standards. Additionally, you will influence and implement best practices, solutions, and processes, working within agile teams to deliver user stories efficiently. To excel in this role, you should possess strong working experience in Java/J2EE technologies like Spring 6.0, Spring Boot, Spring Microservices, Spring JPA, Spring Web Flux, Hibernate, as well as familiarity with JSON, Swagger, REST APIs, XML, XML Schemas, and Web Service technology. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, a solid foundation in cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), expertise in containers and container management (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes), and agile development experience are essential. Your ability to collaborate with multiple teams, provide technical expertise, and tackle complex business problems will be key to your success. It would be advantageous to have experience in Python, and knowledge of Machine Learning & AI technologies. A strong engineering mindset, a willingness to experiment, learn new technologies, and embrace open-source packages are highly valued qualities in this role.
