About the Role

Service Provider IP/MPLS Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Configure, operate, and troubleshoot
Cisco ASR/NCS-based SP Core networks
.
Manage and optimize
MPLS (L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing)
.
Configure and optimize
routing protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP)
.
Monitor and report network performance using advanced tools (Spectrum, EOS, SANXT, etc.).
Collaborate with Tier 2/3 teams for escalated issue resolution.
Participate in change management, upgrades, and core migrations.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in
IP/MPLS Core Networking
(OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS VPNs).
Hands-on with
Cisco ASR9K, NCS, ISR
routers and SP Core platforms.
Experience with
network monitoring tools & troubleshooting complex IP issues
.

Preferred Qualifications

CCNP/CCIE Service Provider certified.
Multi-vendor exposure (Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
Familiarity with Segment Routing & automation basics.
