Job Description

Job Summary

As a Level 2 Source Code Review (SCR) resource, you will perform detailed security reviews of application source code across multiple programming languages. You will identify security flaws, logic vulnerabilities, and coding inefficiencies, and work with development teams to remediate and improve code security posture throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct
manual and automated
source code review (SCR) across diverse programming languages and frameworks
Analyze code for security vulnerabilities (e.g. injection, XSS, CSRF, insecure deserialization, access control issues, logic flaws)
Use static analysis / SAST tools (e.g. Fortify, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Veracode) and supplement with manual review
Prioritize findings by severity, threat, and business impact
Prepare detailed and clear reports / review findings, with proof-of-concept (PoC) or example exploit paths
Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining risks and remediation options
Provide remediation guidance, code samples, and secure coding best practices
Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and security teams to ensure remediation is correctly implemented
Help integrate security review and testing earlier in the SDLC / CI/CD pipeline
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of secure coding standards, checklists, and guidelines
Mentor junior reviewers and help improve the teams review practices
Stay current with evolving security threats, vulnerability patterns, and secure coding trends
